This book is a record of the match from its inception to its end. It contains the twenty-four games fully annotated and illustrated by eighty diagrams. In addition there are many photographs of scenes of play in London and Moscow, chapters of chess life in both countries, biographies and portraits of the players and a theoretical review. Won by the USSR 18-6.
Condition:
Dust jacket closed tear the length of the back fold over edge, corners and spine ends lightly chipped, 1" closed tear with creases at front head edge else a very good copy in like jacket.
