There were a total of six volumes in the series, each about 14/15 cm x 10cm. Four are entitled Schachaufgaben I, II, III (700 pages) Schachaufgaben 2 (262 pages), Schachaufgaben (450 pages), and Schachaufgaben 5 (236 pages); the fifth (dark grey spine, 198 pages) is anonymous as to cover. All contain volumes of Schachaufgaben by J. Dufresne, H. von Gottschall, and J. Mieses. Schachaufgaben I, II, III contains volumes I, II, III, all by Dufresne; "Schachaufgaben 2", volume II only; "Schachaufgaben", volumes III (Dufresne) and IV (von Gottschall); Schachaufgaben 5, volume V (von Gottschall); the anonymous volume, volume VI (Mieses). Together, they contain some 1680 problems of all types, with introductory material; in German.
