The 5th Nordic Chess Congress in Gothenburg 1909 with all 18 games from the congress tournament and 31 games from the minor tournaments with annotations in Swedish.
The 1909 contest was held from November 1 through the 14 of 1909 and consisted of three classes: the Master Class, first class and second class. The Master Class had four contestants who vied for the Championship, Milan Vidmar, finishing first two points ahead of the field; Paul Saladin Leonhardt who was second with a score of 5/9; Oldrich Duras in third a point behind and in final place with 2 points Victor Sjoberg. The tournament was three game round robin. The First Class consisted of eight players, in a single round robin, won by Joel Fridlizius with 5 1/2 of 7 points. In the Second Class contest there were ten contestants with O Dahl winning at 6 of 9.
