Included in this work is the Alekhine and Euwe match for the world championship in 1937 with annotation by Alekhine. This covers the play off match for the United States Chess Tournament of 1942, when Issac Kashdan and Samuel Reshevsky tied for first and a match to determine the championship concluded the tournament with Reshevsky defeating Isaac Kashdan by (+6 −2 =3). All the games are annotated by Alekhine. Also included is a Curso de Ajedrez a Arturo Pomar by Alekhine covering many of the games of Pomar and a brief biography. The work includes the work by Manuel de Agustin, Alexander Alekhine in Spain with a brief biography. This covers by of the tournaments he competed in in Spain.
