Five chess masters were invited to compete in a double round robin tournament at the city of Paris, France in 1925. The participants were Alexander Alekhine, Savielly Tartakower, Karel Opocensky, Eugene Znosko-Borovsky, and Edgar Colle. The competition proved to be yet another win for Alekhine, which was practically an exhibition for him as he finished undefeated and scored wins against each player except for Dr. Tartakower.
