They were Aron Nimzowitsch, Savielly Tartakower, Edgar Colle, Hans Kmoch, Borislav Kostic, Alfred Brinckmann, Karl Ahues, and Lajos Steiner. Nimzowitsch and Tartakower shared first place, both having gone undefeated.
