Ceské listy šachové founded in 1896 by Jan Kotrèem and Charles Traxler was the first chess magazine published in Czechoslovakia. It was published until 1900 when, in the same year was it was replaced by a new monthly Šachové listy..

Spine heal badly damaged, label on spine, James E Bates label on front pastedown, liberally stamped through out by both the Prague and Vienna chess club symbols, edge wear a good copy, internally about very good.
