The Deutschen Schachbund master tournament of 1927 was played in Magdeburg with 14 contestants. Rudolph Spielmann captured first with a score of 11 and Efwim Bogolijubow closely behind with 10 1/2. The determining factor was the game between both players which Spielmann won. Included in this work are some problem competitions and the results of all the Hauptturnier contests.
