This tournament was organized to celebrate 100 years of the founding of the city of Chacabuco". The tournament attracted eight contestants. These players were either from Chacabuco or Buenos Aires. The arbitrator of the event was Haroldo Toffano and occurred over a period from July 24 through and 30th 1965. The contestants were Hugo Bruno, Alberto Chocron, Moises Studenetzky, Bernardo Wexler, Mario Pugach, Carlos Kuperman, Alberto Foguelman and Jorge Pelikan. Jiří (Jorge) Pelikán captured first with 6 points a half point of the second place finisher Mario Pugach. Tied for third through were Bernardo Wexler and Moises Studenetzky with 4.5 points each. In sole fifth was Jorge Pelikan at 3.5. Sixth through seventh wwere shared with Alberto Chocron and Hugo Bruno with 1.5 each. In last place was Carlos Kuperman with two draws each.

Condition:

Edge wear, corners bumped, some toning to wrappers and pages else a very good copy.
