Postcard with a half portrait of Bogolyubov sitting in front of a chessboard (3 1/2" x 5 1/2") with the handwritten signature of the Russian dated 1934.
Efim Bogoljubow was a Russian-born German chess player who played two matches against Alexander Alekhine for the world championship. He was granted the title of grandmaster by FIDE in 1951.
Condition:
The card is age toned, occasionally stained, has minor signs of wear and an imprint of a rusty paper clip on the left edge else very good.
