1 postcard. Oblong 16mo (3 1/2" x 5 1/2") postcard in Czech, German and Swedish. This contains two original problems submitted to chess editor Axel Lindstrom with two original problems. Signed by Vestesnik.

Ladislav Vetešník was a long standing contributor to Swedish chess columns, he was the great "Bohemian" composer and lived to be 92 years of age. He was born in Jizernim and later became a teacher. There he played chess with colleagues and after seeing some problem compositions in one of the local Czech chess magazines, he constructed some and one was published. In 1897 he received first prize in the tournament, "Kurijer Warszawski" (20 rubles) and the same year had several compositions published in Berliner Schachzeitung. After winning a number of composition prizes, A C White sent him one of his series for Christmas and was asked to send a number of his composition for publication.
