This is the first volume in end game series by Averbakh. The present work, already established as a classic in it Russian edition, is by far the most complete work on pawn endgames ever published. Containing no less than 911 examples it will prove invaluable both to the student of chess and in the practical player.

Tape stains to paste downs, some sunning to covers. Jacket price clipped. A very good copy in a near fine jacket.
