Contains a biography of Marshall (18 pages), a general introduction to the openings by Marshall followed by his analysis of the best lines of play in the major openings (82 pages), and 32 of his games, with brief annotations from various sources (85 pages). Presumably the biography and the compilation of the games section were the work of the editor or staff of the British Chess Magazine

Corners bumped and rubbed through, hinges and spine ends rubbed, previous owner's name on front paste down. About a very good copy without jacket.
